The idea is to be at a pace so you aren’t out of breath so not to start burning muscle but at a fast enough pace so your body starts using fat as its fuel for the cardio.
High Intensity Interval Training
This can be performed anytime in the day but it is not recommended to do this unfuelled. The idea is to spend around 20 minutes switching between a steady speed to a fast speed. A common way to split it up would be to jog for 30 seconds and then sprint for 30 seconds or do similar on a bike.
